The female goats at Land of Milk and Honey are the heart of our farm and central to our breeding program; each doe is carefully chosen for health, temperament, and strong milking lines. Our registered herd name with the ADGA is “Moon Gate Ridge”, so the gals bearing that name were bred right here on our farm! Ethical practices guide every decision we make for their care, housing, and breeding, ensuring healthy kids and quality milk for our handcrafted products.

Platinum is one flashy girl! We love her silver roan coat. She is an easy keeper with natural maternal instincts. She was the sole doeling in a litter of quads and has delivered twins and triplets uneventfully herself. She is a dream in the milk stand with large orifices for efficient hand milking.

One of our prized goats out of Chubb E Acres Farm, Nani is as stubborn as she is stunning. She is the “boss” often grunting warnings to the rest of the herd to ensure 1st place at the hay or grain trough. With her beautiful blue eyes, we love the diversity of features she brings to our herd.

“Anna” is hearty and low maintenance. She is healthy and resilient; her body condition remains consistent through the seasons and phases of kidding. We retained both a doeling (Twinkle) and buckling (Buzz) from her 2025 kidding for exactly these reasons!

Royale was one of quads who my husband instantly declared, “we’re keeping that one!” She has grown into a body structure, shiny coat, and globular udder that makes her stand-out in the herd.

Rikki is another easy keeper who played a key role in milk production for our 2025 soaping season. She is best buddies and stall mates with Royale her fellow “R” keeper from 2023.

Twinkle is Anna’s daughter and her spitting image! We are so excited to continue her dam’s line in this little beauty. Breeding planned for 2027.

Mel promises to be something truly special with Fairland Farm and Wood Bridge Farm genetics. We couldn’t be more pleased with her temperament and conformation. We hope she will settle in 2027.

New to Land of Milk and Honey in 2025, “Toodles” is our first Mini-Nubian! We are excited to combine the milk production of a full-sized dairy goat breed with all the things we love about our Nigerian dwarf goats! Bred to our herd sire, Bear, her kids will be F2 Mini-Nubians who we expect to be smaller, dairy-efficient goats that lean toward Nigerian traits but retain some Nubian character.
