sales policy

  • Our goats are purebred, Nigerian Dwarf Goats and are registered with the American Dairy Goat Association. We operate a closed, CL/CAE/JOHNE’S DISEASE free herd, and our bucks are housed on-site.

  • All goat kids leaving our farm will be tattooed and have current CD/T shots. We have both polled and horned genetics in our herd.

  • We will provide the ADGA registration papers for you to submit. Registration papers will not be issued for wethers, or non-breeding stock does, sold as pets.

  • Goats are instinctively herd animals, if they do not have a companion, they get depressed, sick, and often do not thrive. Therefore, you must have an existing herd for your new kid to join or purchase 2 or more kids at the same time.

  • You must have a safe place of containment for them with plenty of things to climb on. We do reserve the right to ask that you provide photos of your facility (fence, shelter, and other animals that will be housed with your Nigerians).

  • You should also have a veterinarian reference or at least contact info for a veterinarian that provides caprine medicine and emergency call.

  • If you wish to hold your place on our waiting list, please click here.

  • Once the kids are born, they will be offered for sale in order of the waitlist. We will share pictures, pedigrees, and purchase prices. Prices will range from $500 - $700 depending on sex, pedigree, and special features (blue eyes, polled, etc.). At that time, we will require a 50% deposit to “hold” your kid(s) and they will be marked as “Sold”.  The other 50% will be due upon pick up.

  • Kids are typically weaned and ready for their forever homes between 8-10 weeks of age.  All deposits are non-refundable, however in the unfortunate circumstance of death or illness, the deposit may be directed towards a future kid, or refunded.

  • We cannot control any stress that may occur because of transportation, the animal’s environment, or care once they leave our farm. As the buyer, you release Land of Milk and Honey, LLC of responsibility for goats purchased upon receipt.

Land of Milk and Honey, LLC reserves the right to retain any animal born on our farm at any time. We also reserve the right to turn down a potential buyer for any reason.
